Our favorites

To enjoy the time in Iceland like a local, staying in the old part of the town, Vesturbær, you simply have to visit:

Our local Café Kaffihús Vesturbæjar and the Hagamel icecream shop, after taking a swim or relaxing in a hot tub  in Vesturbæjarlaug, outdoor warm swimming pool. Melabuðin is the local favourite grocery store.

Take a Bike tour to Grotta and enjoy a natural little hot spring for your feet in the shore. Ægissiða is also a great path to bike.

Grotta Vaktarab

Kolaportid a colorful flea market with everything between heaven and earth. Fresh products from Icelandic farmers
